The TRA VISIONS Student Competition is aimed at University and Technical Institutes students pursuing bachelor degrees and higher. This competition presents an opportunity for students to showcase their work in an international stage at the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2014 Conference between the 14th and 17th of April 2014 in Paris. Initially, participants will be invited to submit an abstract under one of the TRA-2014 conference Topics (Call for Ideas) which covers the general areas of:

  • Environment and Energy
  • Industry Competitiveness
  • Safety and Security
  • Logistics and Mobility Systems and Services
  • Transport Policy Research/Socio-economic/Human sciences
  • Transport Infrastructures
  • Vehicles & Vessels Technologies

The registration period is still open until the end of January 2014. This means that, if you have not already done so, you can immediately register your ideas and submit a Title and a short abstract of their ideas for this Student Competition, and then by the end of the month further develop and submit your idea as a report based on the Final Project Template accompanied by any supporting documents (drawings, excel calculations presentations etc.).

This will be followed by an Evaluation of Ideas period during which a judging panel will determine which are the top 3 ideas per mode (including cross-modality). The winner certificates and their prizes will be presented in a prestigious award ceremony during the TRA 2014 event.
