SMARTRAIL presentation and event at InnoTrans 2012 in Berlin September 18-21, 2012

In the framework of InnoTrans 2012, EURNEX organised on its stand a SMARTRAIL project poster presentation and a SMARTRAIL get together with stakeholders and project partner. The event was dedicated to inform stakeholders on the project progress and update information on ongoing activities in a relaxed atmosphere. The participating project partners provided abstracts of their work verbally. In its introductory remarks, Assist. Prof. Wolfgang H. Steinicke reminded partners of the project goals to reduce replacement costs, reduce delay and provide environmentally friendly maintenance solutions for ageing infrastructure networks. In the first phase of the project,  the real topics of interest, needs and constraints have been identified. Now it is the task of the partners to provide solutions according to the customer requirements.
