News16.10.2013Call for abstracts for ARRB conference now open until Monday 11th November 2013 Abstracts can be submitted via www.26arrbconference.com.au until Monday 11th November 2013. ARRB Group, in conjunction with its major supporters, Roads and Maritime Services, is pleased to announce the 26th ARRB Conference. This will be held at ANZ Stadium - Olympic Park, Sydney, New South Wales from 19 - 22 October 2014. The theme of the Conference is Research driving efficiency. The Conference will identify ways in which research can influence customer focussed solutions. It will provide an opportunity to showcase peer reviewed research outputs covering a wide range of topics in support of a sustainable and efficient future for transport. The ARRB Conference provides a perfect platform to share knowledge and technical insights from national and international government and industry perspectives. This is one of ARRB’s key strategic goals. The Conference provides our members and key industry stakeholders with the latest research developments and networking opportunities. It is anticipated that between 400 and 500 local, interstate and international delegates will be attending the ARRB Conference. Immediately following the 2014 ARRB Conference is the 9th Austroads Bridge Conference, proudly hosted by ARRB. The theme of this Conference is Bridges of the future, and it will also be held at ANZ Stadium, from the 22 - 24 October 2014. Both Conferences will share a joint session day, Wednesday 22 October, where topics relevant to delegates of both Conferences will be covered.
